Headquartered in Alexandria, Egypt, Neith Metals is a prominent manufacturer and supplier of high-performance Forgings of Titanium Grade 1, delivering precision-engineered titanium products to industries across the globe. Renowned for its superior quality material, the organization offers forgings with excellent corrosion resistance, high ductility, and an extraordinary strength-to-weight ratio. Such characteristics make Titanium Grade 1 suitable for use in aerospace, medical, marine, and chemical processing industries. Dedicated to innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction, Neith Metals operates to the highest standards of the industry, guaranteeing each and every product provides durability, reliability, and long-term performance in even the most extreme conditions.
Titanium Grade 1 Forgings consist of commercially pure titanium (about 99.5%) with traces of iron (0.2%), oxygen (0.18%), and nitrogen (0.03%). Due to this composition, it is the most ductile and corrosion-resistant among all titanium grades. It has a yield strength of about 240 MPa, ultimate tensile strength of up to 340 MPa, and elongation of about 24%. Due to its low density of 4.43 g/cm³, it is very light. Titanium Grade 1 has superior formability, weldability, and fatigue properties, which make it a suitable choice for applications that demand strength, flexibility, and corrosion resistance.

Titanium Grade 1 forgings are commonly used in aerospace, chemical processing, marine, medical, and automotive industries due to their excellent corrosion resistance, lightweight, high strength, and biocompatibility properties.
Titanium Grade 1 forgings are made by heating titanium billets, then shaping them using compressive forces like hammering or pressing, followed by precision machining to achieve the desired specifications.
Open-die forging for Titanium Gr 1 involves compressing heated titanium between flat or contoured dies, allowing metal to deform freely, producing strong, customized components with excellent structural integrity.
Titanium Grade 1 Forgings find vast application in industries where there is a need for superior corrosion resistance and good ductility. They are particularly suited to aerospace parts like airframe structures and engine components, and to seawater-exposed marine applications. In the chemical process industry, they are used for heat exchangers, pressure vessels, and reactors because of their capability to withstand oxidizing environments. The medical industry employs them for implants and surgical tools due to their biocompatibility. Grade 1 titanium is also applied in desalination plants, automotive components, and other essential industrial applications requiring lightweight, strong, and resistant to corrosion materials.
