Neith Metals, Alexandria, Egypt, is a leading manufacturer and supplier of high-quality Titanium Grade 5 Forgings. With its strong reputation for precision and excellence, the company specializes in making titanium components that offer unmatched strength, lightweight features, and superior corrosion resistance. The forgings are extensively used in demanding sectors like aerospace, automotive, and medical, where performance, reliability, and durability are of utmost importance. Here at Neith Metals, we are committed to providing tailored solutions in titanium that adhere to the highest international standards, ensuring each item surpasses clients’ expectations in terms of performance, quality, and long-term reliability.
Titanium Grade 5 Forgings (Ti-6Al-4V) consist of about 90% titanium, 6% aluminum, and 4% vanadium and include trace amounts of iron, carbon, and oxygen. This alloy provides an exceptional combination of strength, low weight, and corrosion resistance. It has tensile strength of around 930 MPa (135 ksi), yield strength of 830 MPa (120 ksi), and an elastic modulus of 113 GPa, with 10–15% elongation. Titanium Grade 5 has excellent resistance to fatigue, toughness, and superior performance when subjected to high temperature and pressure, and hence is very well suited for high-stress industrial applications.

Durability of Titanium Grade 5 forgings is ensured by proper heat treatment, controlled forging process, precise die design, alloy composition, and maintaining optimal surface finish, enhancing strength, corrosion resistance, and fatigue resistance.
Titanium Gr 5 forgings are commonly used in aerospace, automotive, medical, marine, and defense industries, providing high strength, corrosion resistance, and lightweight properties for critical components and high-performance applications.
Closed-die forging in Titanium Gr 5 production involves shaping titanium by compressing it between two shaped dies, ensuring precise dimensions, high strength, and improved material properties for demanding applications.
Titanium Grade 5 Forgings are widely applied in industries requiring high strength-to-weight ratio, corrosion resistance, and toughness. Aerospace industry uses them for turbine blades, airframe parts, and engine components because of their high strength and resistance to heat. The medical sector utilizes the alloy as surgical implants, dental appliances, and joint replacements because of its biocompatibility. In the automotive industry, it is utilized for high-performance structural and engine components. It also occurs in chemical processing hardware and sporting equipment. The superior fatigue resistance and stability of Titanium Grade 5 make it suitable for the most stringent applications.
