Titanium Grade 6 Rods and Bars (UNS R54520 / DIN 3.7114) consist of about 94% titanium, 3% aluminium, 2.5% vanadium, and 0.15% oxygen. This alloy has a very good combination of high strength, resistance to corrosion, and low weight. It works extremely well in seawater and other aggressive mediums. Titanium Grade 6 also offers excellent weldability, reasonable formability, and thermal resistance.
